Kidding Season is coming...

Updated: Feb 18, 2023

Kidding season is just around the corner on our farm, and we couldn't be more excited! This is one of the busiest and most exciting times of year for us, as we welcome new baby goats into the world.

We've been preparing for weeks now, getting the barn ready, stocking up on supplies, and making sure all of our does are healthy and happy. It's a lot of work, but it's so worth it to see those adorable little faces peeking out at us from the barn.

One of the most important things we do during kidding season is monitor our does closely to make sure they're doing well. We keep a close eye on their feed and water intake, as well as their behavior, to make sure they're not showing any signs of distress. If we do notice anything unusual, we're quick to call the vet to get things checked out.

Of course, one of the most exciting things about kidding season is getting to watch the babies grow and develop. We spend a lot of time snuggling with them, making sure they're getting enough milk, and just marveling at their tiny little hooves and soft, fuzzy ears.

If you're interested in purchasing one of our kids, now is the time to act before kidding season. Our kids are in high demand, and they tend to sell out quickly. We offer competitive pricing and excellent genetics, so you're sure to find the perfect goat for your farm.

Occasionally we will offer a doe in milk with her kids. This is an excellent way to jumpstart your dairy herd.

Contact us today to get on the waiting list to reserve one for your farm.

We can't wait to share this special time with you!

Blessings,

The Nuss Family at Jubilation Farms
